The Artist’s Curse

To be an artist –that’s for sure- you must be sick, depressed, or poor; that’s when you’re painting from the heart and able to produce good art. You work by day, you work at night, it’s never perfect, never right, there’s never any satisfaction to cure your merciless attraction. Then, after sleepless nights and tears, when you have painted many years, you finally can be relieved and proud of what you have achieved.
